Michael Patrick Gasparovic, Sr., age 77, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Monday, August 18, 2025 at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, Arkansas.

Born September 26, 1947 in San Diego, California, he was the son of Joseph and Mary (McCloskey) Gasparovic. He was united in marriage to Alice Melte, who preceded him in death on February 28, 2006. Also preceding him in death was his parents.

Surviving are his son, Michael Patrick Gasparovic, Jr. and his wife Sophie of Towson, Maryland and two grandchildren.

Michael grew up and attended school in San Diego, California. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army from where he retired as Sergeant First Class after 20 years of service to his country. Michael had lived in Cassville the past ten years moving here from Kansas. He could often be found fishing in the waters of the local lakes and streams, jogging through winding trails, or simply being outdoors enjoying the warmth of the sun on his face.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Tony Ball will conduct the services.
