With a heavy heart, we announce the death of Michael Stanley Gilliam on May 22, 2025, in Richmond, Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Shirley Gilliam and brother, Billy, Jr. He is survived by three siblings: Rickey, Anthony, and Andrea, a host of aunts, nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, and cousins.
He was a forklift operator and handyman, a jack of all trades. In his past time, he enjoyed cooking, working on cars, and playing dominoes, and spades. Most of all, he loved women. He did not mind helping his family, friends, and neighbors in any way that he could. Michael was well known in his community. He had a good heart and will be deeply missed. Michael will forever be in the hearts of his family and friends.
A brief memorial service will be held in Greer, SC at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on May 31, 2025, at 1:00 pm. In Lieu of flowers, send donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. On behalf of the family, we want to thank everyone for their love and support during our time of grief.
