Michael Griesbach's Memorial Mass Video
Michael R. Griesbach, 69, of Hortonville, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024. He was born on June 10, 1954 in Appleton, to the late Leroy and Joyce (Shaw) Griesbach, one of ten children. Michael married Barbara Pavlak on November 15, 2002 in Rhinelander.
After school, Michael worked as a millwright until 1987, when he started his own business, Griesbach's Online Leak Repair and he enjoyed working for himself until his retirement. In his free time, Michael loved to be out in nature, deer hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching his grandson's race and visiting with all of his grandchildren. He will forever be remembered for his quirky sense of humor. He had a joke for everything and could turn anyone's bad day into a good one.
Michael is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children, Jeremy (Lori) Griesbach, Jason (Nicole) Griesbach, and Cody Griesbach; and four grandchildren, Grant, Grace, Gavin and Chase; siblings, Dennis (Tasha) Griesbach, Vicky (Mark) Countney, Jeff (Joan) Griesbach, Mary (Ron) Meverden, Pat (Lori) Griesbach, Bob Griesbach, and LeAnn (Keith) Lenzer and brother-in-law, Paul Kettner. He is further survived by numerous in-laws, relatives, friends, and his special dog, Fred.
Michael was greeted in heaven by his parents, Leroy and Joyce; his brother, Greg (Donna Fox) Griesbach; his sister, Debbie Kettner; sister-in-law, Gloria Griesbach; his nephew, Jake Landre; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elvira and Stanley Pavlak.
The family of Michael would like to thank the Hoier Family for the compassion they had shown over the years. They would like to also thank their McDonald's Family in Greenville for the friendship they shared.
The Memorial Mass for Michael will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville, with Fr. Phil Schoofs officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 8:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.
Burial will be at Dale Union Cemetery at a later date.
