Michael Guarisco Obituary
Dr. Michael Joseph Guarisco was born on December 14, 1945, to Dominick and Rosalie McCann Guarisco in Morgan City, LA. He passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home. Mr. Guarisco served with distinction in the Army in Vietnam as military police officer.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kahlie Blakeman of Opelousas; son, Ragan Guarisco of Port Allen; brother, Dr. Charles Guarisco and wife Sandra of Morgan City; four grandchildren, Jordan Blakeman, Joshua Blakeman, Bryce Guarisco and Emma Guarisco; and various nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Rosemary Emmitt.
The family is honoring his wishes to be cremated and will have a private memorial at a later date.
