Michael Eugene Hensley, age 68, of Dandridge passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at his home. He was a graduate of Maury High School’s class of 1973. Following graduation, he began working in construction, which is what he did for the rest of his working career. Mike enjoyed fishing and following the Tennessee Vols.
Mike is proceeded in death by his father and mother, Curtis, and Anna Mae (Poore) Hensley; beloved wife, Jan (Huskey) Hensley.
Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Michael C. (Ashley) Hensley; brother, Greg Hensley; sisters, Darlene Dawson, and Patty Hensley. He was a loving papaw to Lucas and Leo.
The family will have a gathering of friends to share memories on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge, TN.
