Michael "Mike" Hull Hiner, 70 of Dunnellon, FL, passed away on August 19, 2025, with his wife by his side. He was born on March 28, 1955, to Joseph Raymond and Mary Glenn Hiner in Harrisonburg, VA.

After graduating from Turner Ashby High in 1973 where he played football, he earned his BBA degree at James Madison University in 1978.

After college, he moved to NC, where he loved the ocean. He worked for Anheuser-Busch for over 20 years in New Bern, NC. In 1993 he worked for Hankison INTL, which became SPX Flow, where he was a Buyer. He transferred to their company in 2020 to Ocala, FL where he continued his Buyer position. In 2024 he joined MSA Manufacturing as a Buyer in Jacksonville, NC.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Kay of Dunnellon, FL; daughter, Liz (Blake) Brown of Wilmington, NC; step-son, Matt Fornes of Everett, WA; brother, Joe Hiner of Harrisonburg, VA; sister, Leslie (Matt) Sites of Dayton, VA; their Bernedoodle, Asher; 4 sister- in laws, 3 brother-in-laws, 9 nieces, 8 nephews, 14 great-nieces & 10 great nephews as well as his best friend of 65 years, Hurl (Dub) Lambert.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Raymond & Mary Glenn Hiner, nephews, Jeremy Bauger and Russell Mealy, grandparents, WM & Hazel (Nanny)Hull and Charles & Annie Eye Hiner.

Mike loved the ocean, fishing, camping, cooking and being outdoors.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you enjoy life, we never know what tomorrow will bring.
