Mike is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (née Isome) Jarrell; and his sons, Christopher, Timothy (Ashley), and Brian Jarrell. He was a cherished grandfather to Alice and Elliott and supportive brother of Katherine, Steven, and Peter (Susan Kenzie). He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth Jarrell.
Mike was born and raised in Naperville, Illinois. He graduated from Illinois State University. During his time at ISU, he not only earned his degree, but met the love of his life, Patricia and the two were married in the summer of 1975. Mike would later go on to earn his M.B.A from Northwestern University. Mike worked in regional banks and spent the majority of his professional career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, being blessed with so many cherished coworkers and friends. He was heavily involved in the Naperville Jaycees, supporting community growth and development as well as the Naperville United Way local chapter. Outside of work and volunteering, Mike was an avid coin collector, gardener, nature enthusiast, camper, Chicago sports fan and traveler. He loved sharing stories of his travels and was always planning his next adventure. Mike was soft-spoken in large groups, but always had the best smile and reassuring looks in any situation. His kind spirit and love of life will be missed by all.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville, Illinois. A Celebration of Life Service will follow on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 1313 N. Mill Street, Naperville, Illinois. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mike's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Timothy Lutheran Church.

Dear Patty and boys, we are so very sorry to hear of Mikes untimely passing. We certainly have fond memories of living on 8th avenue across the street from you! I miss those fun simple days with that wonderful neighborhood! Debbie Miles notified me about Mike. You and your family are in our prayers.
