BELLVILLE: Michael Thomas Keiser passed away unexpectedly and went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Ohio Health in Mansfield at the age of 59.
He was born in Ashland, Ohio on December 19, 1965 to parents David and Carolyn (Crawford) Keiser.
He attended Lucas High School and graduated in 1984.
He was a very avid Ohio State fan and loved to watch the game with his childhood best friend, Mike and was ecstatic when they won the championship title this year. He loved to spend time golfing, and having deep religious discussions and bible studies with his good friend Gary. He also loved spending time and working on his family's farm. He dearly loved spending time with his grandkids, especially playing back yard softball with them.
He was employed at Gorman Rupp for 16 years as a Maintenance Technician.
Mike met the love of his life, Lori (Lawhun) Keiser, at the Perrysville fair in 1996 and they were married the following year on September 13, 1997, and they spent 27 wonderful years as husband and wife.
He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Emily Faith, and father, David Keiser.
Survived by his wife Lori (Lawhun) Keiser, daughter Jessica Frontz, grandkids Maddie Frontz and Jeffrey Brooks, mother Carolyn (Crawford) Keiser, brothers Scott (Jennifer) Keiser and Rick Keiser, mother & father-in-law JR and Janice Lawhun, brother-in-law Jeremy Lawhun and sister-in-law Lana Smith, as well as many nephews and nieces who all loved their "Uncle Mikey".
Calling hours will be Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Snyder Funeral Home in Bellville from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a celebration of life memorial service from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Rest in the arms of Jesus, Mike, you finished well.
