On August 16, 2025, Michael J. Kelly, age 75, passed away. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Haddon Township, Mike has been a resident of Haddon Heights for over 20 years.

Mike was a devoted father, brother, uncle, friend, and neighbor whose presence will be deeply missed and warmly remembered. He lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, and a love for those around him, always putting others before himself.

An accomplished entrepreneur, Mike operated several businesses, including exterminating and cleaning companies. Known for his unwavering professionalism, he earned the lasting trust and respect of his clients. His professional integrity were matched only by the kindness, generosity, and warmth he shared with everyone around him.

Outside of work, Mike found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved tending to his garden, watching sports, staying active by swimming and going to the gym. Athletic by nature, he especially cherished playing basketball, where he not only kept his competitive spirit alive well into adulthood but also built lasting friendships that extended far beyond the court.

Mike treasured every moment spent with friends and family whether in person, on the phone or over FaceTime. His smile, laughter, and words of encouragement reached through the phone and made his loved ones feel as though he was right there beside them. Mike was more than a devoted father, brother, uncle and friend, he was a role model who led with love, patience, and generosity. His example will continue to guide his family and all who were blessed to know him.

Above all, Mike will be remembered for his giving spirit and his readiness to help anyone in need. Whether it was a neighbor, a friend, or a family member, he was always there with a steady hand and a caring heart. His generosity showed up in both big and small ways. From lending a hand to a neighbor to surprising loved ones with a McMillan's cream donut, his simple gestures spoke volumes about his caring nature. His legacy of love, friendship, and selflessness will live on in all who were fortunate to know him.

Michael was predeceased by his brother, Jack Kelly (Betty Ann). He is lovingly survived by his son, Brian Kelly and his fiancé, Jensen Quadros; his two brothers, Kevin Kelly (Mary Ellen) and Ted Kelly (Carolyn); his two sisters, Anne Stanton (Mike) and Sue Sanders (George) as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Saturday, August 23rd from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Healey Funeral Home, 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights where his Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM.
