Michael King was born Wednesday January 18,1956 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to Robert and Beatrice King. He was their first born of seven children together, he departed this life on February 9, 2025 at the age of 69. Michael attended school in the Philadelphia school district where he received certificates of completion. He later worked in various work programs for special needs and the intellectually challenged where he was able to earn income. Michael loved to take daily walks in the neighborhood where he was raised with his siblings. He would walk to the same stores every day to get his favorite snacks and his Pepsi Soda and we all know that Michael didn't play about his Pepsi. His two favorite lines were, give me the money and where's my Pepsi. Michael was loved and well known in his neighborhood. He would always stop to say hey man and give a fist bump or a handshake to everyone he knew while on his daily walk. Michael was always full of joy jumping up to greet everyone with a big smile. Michael loved spending time with his family, watching tv, dancing and listening to music. His favorite song was " You'll Never Find" By Lou Rawls he know that song word for word. Michael was proceeded in death by his parents Robert and Beatrice King. He leaves behind to cherish his memory 4 sisters Vanessa Carolyn,Deborah,Roslyn, 1 sister in love Robin, 2 brothers Maurice and Randell 1 brother in-law Aaron (Roslyn) 10 nieces, 12 nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Michael was close to all of his family members, but he shared a special bond with his baby sister Roslyn. He loved his Roz and she loved her Mikey Nike. Michael was truly one of a kind and there will never be another. He will be truly missed.
