Michael Anthony Kobulnicky, Sr., of Buena Vista, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025. He was born on November 21, 1942 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Bruncak) Kobulnicky. Michael was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during Vietnam. He worked as a laborer for US Steel for 16 years and later as a custodian for Elizabeth Forward School District. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, casinos and watching football. He was the loving husband of 58 years to Alberta Mae (Faust) Kobulnicky. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Michael (Anna) Kobulnicky, Pamela (Michael) Gregory and John (fiancée Florence) Kobulnicky all of Elizabeth Township; grandchildren, Savannah Lach, Faith Gregory and Ava Kobulnicky; brother Luke (Veronica) Kobulnicky of California; sister, Helen Spinello-Russel of East McKeesport; nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Joseph Kobulnicky; infant grandson, Michael Gregory; siblings, Mary Maglicco, Milan Kobulnicky, Veronica Valekas, Paul Kobulnicky, John Kobulnicky and Justina Lalley. Friends are welcome Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director. A prayer service will be held Sunday at 6 PM with The Rev. Thomas J. Burke officiating. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 24, 2025 at 11 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
