Michael J. Kopich, 69, of Middleburg, entered into rest on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at his residence surrounded by family.
He was born on March 4, 1956, in Newark, New Jersey, a son of the late John and Christina (Sendatch) Kopich. On December 31, 1980, he married Kathy Sebasovich, who passed away on January 12, 2021.
Michael worked as a correctional officer at the Lewisburg Penitentiary and also served as a Pennsylvania State Constable. He later provided security at the Milton truck stop and volunteered with the fire police.
He was a dedicated fan of the Indianapolis Colts and the Baltimore Orioles. Michael was also an avid train enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He attended Christ Wesleyan Church in Milton.
Surviving are one daughter, Michelle Kopich of Mifflinburg; one son, Joseph Kopich; and three grandchildren, Samuel, Freedom, and Victor.
A service to celebrate Michael’s life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025 in the Prayer Chapel at Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton, please enter the church at door #4.
