Michael Frank Kovacs

Michael F. Kovacs, 82, of Venice, Florida passed away peacefully on December 30th, 2023, at home surrounded by his family.
Michael (Frankie) Kovacs was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be missed and remembered by the many lives he touched. Frank was a generous man, always there for family and friends, someone who was taken home too soon. We hope he is driving his classic Cadillac through the heavenly gates on blissful clouds with the companions who passed before him. Frank, everyone you left in this world is deeply saddened that you are gone but we are all happy that you are home, free, clear minded, painless, and joyous. We will always love and miss you until we all can meet again.
Frank was born in Newark, New Jersey on May 21st, 1941. Growing up "Down Neck" he graduated East Side High School in 1959. He was passionate about classic automobiles, motorcycling, and was a talented baseball player and loving son.
Micheal Frank Kovacs married Judith Ann Albino on December 29th, 1963. Micheal and Judith recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, an incredible milestone. Except, for a stint at the Bryers Ice Cream Company, which he was always sure to mention, Frank worked intensely in the construction industry for most of his wonderful years of life. He enjoyed traveling with his beloved wife. Playing softball, bowling, coaching, scouting, nurturing his two sons, spoiling his grandchildren, and helping all he knew were some of the things he loved. Spending time with his family was his pride and joy. Frank was a loving, devoted husband and father, and a terrific grandfather, he was, a real pillar if his community.
Frank is survived by his wife Judith, his sons Kevin and Darren, Daughter-in-laws Farisa and Rosiane, grandchildren Alyssa, Marlowe, Nico, and Dean. He also leaves behind loving cousins and other assorted family as well as many caring friends.
Frankie is preceded in death by Frank Kovacs and Margaret Ryan.

The family of Frankie's wishes to thank Sarasota County Hospice for all the time they spent with Frank and the care they gave during the heartbreaking final moments of his amazing life.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at The O'Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad Street
Bloomfield, New Jersey on Thursday, January 25th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A Memorial Mass and the celebration of life will be held at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church (60 Byrd Ave, Bloomfield, NJ 07003) on Friday January 26th, 2024, at 9:30am at. Father Larry will be officiating this lovely service. Repass (Lunch) will be held at Angelo's Restaurant (303 Broad Street, Bloomfield, NJ 07003) at 11:30 am, following the mass. Arrangements for this day are being handled by the family of this beautiful soul.
