Michael E. "Mickey" Kubala, of Richboro, PA, passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 83.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Louise R. Kubala; his cherished sons, Michael and Brian, along with Brian's wife, Irina, and their son, Alex.
Born in Taylor, PA, to the late Michael and Mary Kubala, Mickey was a proud graduate of Taylor High School. He went on to dedicate 43 years of his career as a locomotive engineer with NJ Transit, retiring in May 2003.
Though he lived in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Mickey always considered the "Patch" in Taylor his true home, where many of his happiest memories were made. An avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsman, he found joy in nature, but his greatest pride was his unwavering love and devotion to his family, extended family, and friends.
A proud Army veteran, Mickey honorably served his country during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Gloria Brown and Ronald Kubala. He is survived by a large and loving extended family of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Viewing on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Chapel of St. Louise de Marillac at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd, Richboro, PA 18954, from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow immediately at Union Cemetery.
