Michael "Mike" Lamrock
Age 67, of Oscoda, MI, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, in Detroit, MI. He was born on February 12, 1958, in Tawas City, MI, to Dale and Shirley Lamrock (Webster). Mike graduated from Oscoda High School in 1976, where he met the love of his life, Terri Patrie. The two married on November 5, 1977, and went on to share 47 wonderful years of marriage filled with laughter, hard work, and family.
Mike spent over 30 years working at Lamrock Inc. before retiring in 2010. Throughout his career, he took great pride in helping customers across northeast Michigan. Outside of his 9-to-5, Mike spent several years coaching for the Oscoda Colts football program, sharing his love and knowledge of the sport with younger generations.
He enjoyed golfing, watching sports, taking care of his lawn, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends. Above all, Mike cherished time with his family and his dogs, Jessie and Sadie.
He is survived by his son, Michael (Taylor) Lamrock of Beverly Hills, MI; daughter, Megan Lamrock of Oscoda, MI; brother, Jeff (Jaque) Lamrock of Oscoda, MI; mother-in-law, Myra Patrie of Bullhead City, AZ; brothers-in-law, Brian (Mary) Patrie of Bullhead City, AZ, and Kevin Patrie of San Diego, CA; and his beloved dogs, Jessie and Sadie, along with his fur grandbabies, Kenny, Gabby, Jameson, and Salem. Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Terri Lamrock; his parents, Dale and Shirley Lamrock; his sister, Monica Wilds; and his father-in-law, Walton Patrie.
A private celebration of life for Mike will be held at a later date in Oscoda, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Iosco County Animal Shelter, 3881 M-55, Tawas City, MI 48763.
