Michael F.J. Manning

Michael F. J. Manning, 85, entered into rest Monday December 22, 2025 at York North Nursing and Rehab. He was the husband of Patricia A. McGuigan for 51 years.
A viewing will be held 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, December 30th at St. Rose of Lima Church 950 West Market St. The Mass of
Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Celestine Nwakwuo, OP as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., West York, is assisting with the arrangements.
Michael was born June 26, 1940 in York, a son of the late Francis E. and Hattie (Wagner) Manning. He was a graduate of York Catholic High School and was employed as a cabinet maker at Marketechs. He crafted many beautiful displays for museums, trade shows, and other special projects. Beyond his work as a cabinet maker, woodworking was something he truly loved and took great pride in. It was more than just a skill - it was a passion of his. He also enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors, finding peace in the simple joys of nature.
Michael is survived by his wife; children David Manning and his wife Melissa, and Susan (Manning) Sturtevant and her husband Ben Sturtevant; grandchildren Meadow, Strummer, Ava and Blake; a sister Monica (Manning) Corwin, her husband Richard; nieces, nephews, and loving extended family.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose of Lima's Knights of Columbus.
