Michael Mattingly Obituary

Mike was born in Louisville to Robert A. and Elizabeth Mattingly. He was a baseball enthusiast and a longtime fan of his Chicago Cubs, a supporter of his alma mater at the University of Louisville, and a dedicated employee to Ford Motor Company. He cherished time spent with the love of his life and beautiful bride, Mary Beth Mattingly. They enjoyed many spectacular journeys both foreign and domestic, especially traveling and vacationing in the Caribbean.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Mary Beth; parents, Robert and Betty; brothers, Robert (Cindy) and Greg (Lisa); and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road. A memorial service in honor of his life will be celebrated 3 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kentucky Humane Society or American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be shared at www.Ratterman.com
