Michael Miller

Michael Miller, 67, of Morganville, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023.
Born Tuesday, March 15, 1955 in Brooklyn, New York, Michael was the son of the late Jerome and Josephine Miller.
Michael lived in Brooklyn for a short time, before his family relocated to Staten Island. He was a graduate of Moore Catholic High School. Michael worked for many years for the New York Times as a Mailer.
Michael would meet the love of his life, Maureen Lewis, and the couple would marry in 1981. They would live first on Staten Island, where they started their family. They then moved to Freehold, before settling in Morganville almost 30 years ago. Michael and Maureen lived in Morganville until her passing in 2018.
In his spare time, Michael enjoyed playing basketball, especially with his friends from the New York Times. He also enjoyed days at Monmouth Park Racetrack. Michael would enjoy occasional trips to Atlantic City, and listening to classic rock music. Michael loved being with his family the most, and will be missed terribly by all those that love him.
Michael was predeceased by his beloved wife, Maureen, and by his brother William Miller.
Michael is survived by his loving daughter, Stephanie Loccisano and her husband Chris, by his brothers and sisters in law, Janet and Billy Port, Susan and John Papadopoulos, and Carolyn and Chris Rongo, by his nieces, Kristen and Amanda and nephew, William, and by his sister Joan Brumbaugh.
A Celebration of Michael's life with take place between the hours of 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM on Saturday at the Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service located at 3377 US Highway 9 Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857. A prayer service will take place at 3:00 PM.
