Michael was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico to John and Yvonne Mirimanian on July 24, 1949. Michael went to school in Las Cruces where his father was a long time school teacher, coach, and administrator.. Michael graduated with a nursing degree from New Mexico State University. He worked as a nurse in New Mexico and on the Navajo Reservation at Ft. Defiance. But his greatest passion and true love was always his drum set. Michael was a drummer for the Shandels and various other bands through the years.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his daughter, Miriah, son-in-law, Scott Affentranger, brothers, Mark and Kurt Mirimanian, and grandchildren, Dallen and Ashlyn Fluitt.
A memorial celebration will be held later this summer at a location yet to be determined but somewhere with music and wild stories of Michael's many escapades!

I knew Michael when he lived in Alb. He was the nicest guy I knew then. I'm glad to read on FB that he was such a radical liberal. Send us some good vibes.

Saddened to hear of Michael's passing. Even though we did not grow up together I am glad we were able to finally meet and visit together several times. I pray you rest in peace my Brother. You will be missed.
