Michael Todd Mochty

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our father, Michael Todd Mochty, on January 1st, 2025 in Duchesne, Utah. Dad was born on March 27th, 1969 in Tawas, Michigan, where he lived most of his life. He was preceded in death by his father (Albert Mochty), his mother (Susan Griese), and a brother (Ronald Mochty). His surviving family members are his sister (Deborah Davis), his brother (Gregory Mochty), his Daughter and Son-In-Law (Natashia and Daniel McNeely), and his son (Nathan Mochty). Dad also leaves behind four grandchildren who he loved very much.
Dad was a hard worker who instilled those same values in his children, and who just like him, went on to become entrepreneurs themselves. He had a dream of moving out west to live off the land, and we are glad to say he made that dream come true before he left this world.
A celebration of life for Dad will be held in March, on or near his birthday, in East Tawas, Michigan. More details will be shared with family members closer to the date.
In lieu of money or flowers, we ask that anyone wanting to donate please do so to St. Jude's Children Hospital, as that was Dads favorite organization to support.
