Michael W. Moody

Rittman -- Michael "Critter" W. Moody, age 63, of Rittman, died unexpectedly, Saturday, December 13, 2025, at his home, following a brief period of declining health.
Michael was born on April 14, 1962, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, to the late Ronald and Loretta (Booth) Moody and graduated from Norwayne High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He was self employed and worked in the construction industry and was a master mechanic.
Michael was a member of the Rittman Moose Lodge #860 and the VFW Post #1066 in Barberton. He had a passion for motorcycles, loved his motorcycle club brotherhood, and going on poker runs. He was the town handyman and could fix anything. Although he had a feisty side, he will be remembered for his caring ways of his family and friends and would do anything to help them out.
Surviving are sisters, Darilee McGregor of Rittman and Mandy Dague of Wooster; brother, Dane Van Dyne of Apple Creek; daughters, Amber Quevy and Brandy Lindsley; sister-in-law, Loretta Moody; friend, Beth Stewart; special friend and companion, Carol Swartz; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, Ronald Moody; mother, Loretta Moody; brother, Alan Moody; brother, Benjamin E. Moody; and step-mother, Marilyn Landis Moody.
A celebration of life will be announced and held at the Rittman Moose Lodge at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman, OH 44270 to held defray expenses.
