Michael Pavlak, of Richboro, PA, passed away Sunday evening, November 9th, 2025 at the age of 77 after a long illness surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
Mike was born on January 8th, 1948 in Bayonne, NJ to the late Alex and Sophie (Andrusko) Pavlak. Mike, his parents, and his brother Patrick settled in East Brunswick, NJ when Mike was in elementary school. Mike graduated from East Brunswick HS in 1969. He attended The University of Notre Dame and then The College of New Jersey where he pursued a Mechanical Engineering degree. Mike later earned an MBA from Temple University which led him to the pharmaceutical field where he would spend the entirety of his long and successful career. Mike would work for several pharmaceutical companies as Senior VP of Business Develpment until his retirement. His work brought him around the world, traveling to over 34 countries during the span of his career.
One fateful night, early in his career, Mike decided to explore his new city and ended up at Fisher's in Bensalem, PA. It was that night when he met his future wife, Susan. A year to the day they met, they married.
Thus began 43 years of being a devoted husband to his wife, father to his children, and "Poppy" to his grandchildren. He always took pride in coaching and watching his 3 children Stacey, Michael, and Kimberley in their varied sports and activities. He enjoyed taking his family on many trips over the years and showed them the world that he experienced through his own travels. Mike lived for his family, and nothing made him happier than having all of his children together.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Sophie and Alex Pavlak, and his cousin, Frank. He will be greatly missed by his wife Susan, daughter Stacey, son Michael, daughter Kimberley, son-in-law Reed, granddaughters Michaela and Avery, crazy dog Izzy, and granddog Carlie. He is also survived by his brother Patrick (Jean), brother-in-law John, cousin Luisa, and friend turned brother Paul.
A private mass will be held for immediate family at his church St. Vincent de Paul. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to your local food bank, in honor of Mike's lifelong commitment to giving back to his community. Donations may also be made in his name to
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
