I'm so sad to hear this news. Michael was in multiple classes with me here at Eastern Kentucky University. I was also his Honors program thesis mentor. But most of all, he was my friend. Fantastic young man, very thoughtful and respectful, and extremely smart. My prayers and thoughts are with the family.

Was a previous co-worker of Michael“s, he was a very genuine hard working young man. I am 24 and this has really hit home, as I worked with him for a while. Prayers to his whole family and may Michael rest in peace.

I studied supply chain with Michael at EKU. Michael was an amazing student and an even nicer person. We partnered up for many group projects and it was always a pleasure working with him. May he rest in peace.

I was a classmate of Michael and would see him at the gym in Lexington. He was an incredibly well spoken, intelligent, and kind person. Sending my thoughts and prayers to his family. Praying for comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Condolences and prayers for the family from all of us in the EKU Honors community. We loved Michael and were proud of all that he accomplished here at EKU and in the start of his professional life over the past year. We will miss him dearly. The photo here is of Michael at his honors thesis presentation with his mentor Dr. Kirby Easterling from the EKU College of Business.

I am a coworker of Michaels. I never got to meet him, because I work in Huntsville, but I can just tell what a sweet soul he was from our daily team's meetings. I am also 22 years old, so this news just truly breaks my heart. Praying for comfort during this difficult time for all of his family and friends.
