Dearest Albert, Pam and Frank,
Sending prayers and love to each of you as you mourn the loss of your son, step-son, and step brother. I pray that God will strengthen you during this difficult time.
Al, I still remember when you called me, seeking my advise as an educational consultant; you were trying so hard to find the right college/art school for Michael. Your desire to provide the best for your son was evident. It was clear that you wanted to do something special for him. The loss of a child who you loved so deeply is a pain like no other. Sending you an extra big hug and lots of love to comfort you.
My favorite memory of Michael was the day Rosie saved my little dog and took him home until I could get there. When I arrived, Michael came running to me, with the biggest smile. He was so happy to keep the dog in his care and return her to me unharmed. His gentle spirit and love for animals touched my heart. I also remember his art work; the vivid colors and creativity were signs of his talent.
Pam for twenty years, you were there for Michael through good and difficult times. You opened your home to him and Rosie and gave so much love. Sometimes love tough love was needed, but it always came from a place in your heart where you wanted only the best. You were happy to go above and beyond to help Michael and his child. Albert is lucky to have a woman who stood, and continues to stand, by his side to welcome his family.
Frank, I know you lost a step brother and a dear friend. I hope your good memories of time spent with Michael comfort you during this difficult time.
Sending love from the West Coast and wishing I could be there with you to comfort you. I am with you in prayer and will hold you close in my heart pocket.
Be strong and stand tall knowing Michael's spirit will live on through each of you.
With love and sympathy,
Karen Curreri
