Michael Edward Pratt, 71, of Scurry, TX passed away on March 24, 2024. Michael was born on December 29, 1952, to Samuel and Dorothy Pratt in Dallas, TX. He was raised in Scurry graduating from high school in 1971. On June 16, 1972, he married Sandra Pratt in Scurry, TX and though they spent some years apart, they found their way back to each other and had a wonderful loving relationship. Michael went to work for Yellow Freight in 1976 and retired after 45 years of working with them. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and all the guns and lures he could have to accomplish both. Michael could do anything, fix everything, and always had good advice. He was a beloved husband, father, Poppy and brother. His parents, Samuel and Dorothy, and siblings: Frankie Pratt and Sue Pratt preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are wife Sandra, children: Mistie Williams and husband Sammy and Trent Pratt and wife Lindsay; grandchildren: Reagyn Williams, Parker Williams and Grayson Pratt; siblings: Sammie Rayburn, Terry Pratt and Kim Pratt; numerous nieces, nephews, many cousins, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
