Michael Ruffra Obituary
Mike was born in Louisville to the late Robert and Amy Ruffra and retired from General Electric on the dishwasher manufacturing line. He was known for his talented work with wood carving and cake decorating.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Ruffra; and sisters, Pat McDermott and Donna Ruffra.
Carrying on Mike's legacy are his loving wife of 51 years, Corrine Ruffra; children, Jacob Ruffra (Teresa) and Rhonda Conaghan (Robert); grandchildren, Tristan, Lorelei, Margaret, and Gabriel; sister, Marcia Alvarez (Joe); sister-in-law, Dian Ruffra; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mike will be from 1-6PM on Sunday, February 8 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. Funeral will be at 11AM on Monday, February 9 at the funeral home, with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to WHAS Crusade for Children or Camp Golden Wing.
