Michael Schober, a talented custom woodworker and passionate musician, passed away on October 18, 2025, in Wilmington, North Carolina. Born on December 25, 1964, in Summit, New Jersey, he was 60 years old at the time of his passing.

Michael dedicated his life to the art of woodworking, where his craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident in every piece he created. His love for music was equally profound; as a guitarist, he brought joy to many with his melodies and had a knack for playing a variety of instruments. In addition to his artistic pursuits, Michael found great joy in riding motorcycles, embracing the freedom and adventure they offered.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Albert Schober and Elaine Tullo. Michael is survived by his brother, John Schober, and sister, Lynn Wells. He leaves behind his nephew, Jason Schober, and his three children; nieces, Erin Dansereau and Rachel Scott, along with her children, Declan and Delaney. Michael will also be fondly remembered by Julie Smith Schober, Erika Stahl, Billy Siano, and many dear friends who cherished his warmth and creativity.

At this time, no services have been announced. Memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA, reflecting Michael's love for animals.

Michael Schober will be remembered for his artistic spirit, his love of music, and the warmth he shared with those around him.
