Michael Slater, 24, of Cleveland, TN, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 29, 2024.
Michael is survived by his mother, Michaela Slater of Cleveland, TN; his father, James Ballard of Marianna, FL; his brother, Jimmy Ballard also of Marianna, FL; his sister, Kendra Messer of Cleveland, TN; his grandmother, Annette Hagin of Chatsworth, GA; his fiancée, Mya Johnson and their daughter Myla Johnson of Cleveland, TN; several cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.
Michael was loved by all who met him. He was a true friend; a huge Georgia football fan; and loved gathering with his family and friends. He was quick with joke and a laugh. He is loved and will be missed by many.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 4-8pm at the Companion Funeral Home, 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
