Mike is survived by his wife Sandra Kay Smading; children, Michele Parsley (Mike) and Angela Cary (David); and 3 grandchildren, Blake, Sarah, and Elizabeth.
He enjoyed fishing, golf and bluegrass music. And he always had a sense of humor!
The graveside service for Mike will be October 4,2024, 11:00 AM, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family ask that donations be made in lieu of flowers to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and The Humane Society of SW Missouri. The family wishes to thank Compassus Hospice for the care and compassion shown with Michael.
