Michael Donnell Smith Sr., of Madisonville, KY, was called home to be with the Lord on June 16, 2025. He was born on May 9, 1972, at Hopkins County Hospital to Deloris Smith and the late Shelby Corbin Jr. Michael attended Madisonville North Hopkins High School and was employed by Quality Lawn Care. He was known for his vibrant personality and his gift of humor - always a jokester, he had a special way of bringing laughter and joy to everyone around him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Shelby Corbin Jr., and his sister Sonya Slaton. Michael leaves to cherish his memory sons: Michael Smith Jr. (Kaleigh) of Madisonville, KY; Adam Long of Richmond, KY. Daughters: DeAsia Wade (J.C. Wade) of Versailles, KY. Cailyn Stringfield of Madisonville, KY. His mother, Deloris Smith and sister, Gwen Smith. His brothers: Alvin Smith and Jeremy Smith (Amanda), all of Madisonville, KY.
Michael will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. His spirit, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
