With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Antonio GL Gant Sr., a beloved figure known for his warm spirit that lit up every room he entered. Born on October 3, 1982, in Madisonville, Kentucky, Antonio was the cherished son of Linda Raye Gant-Moss and Greg (Tonya) Stone. He became a faithful child of Christ at an early age, attending Branch Street Church of God in Christ, where his journey of faith began.
Antonio attended Hopkins Central High School before graduating from Madisonville North Hopkins High School. For two and a half years, he dedicated his efforts to UPS, showcasing his strong work ethic.
Antonio leaves behind a loving family, including his grandmother, Mary Gant, who played a significant role in his upbringing, as well as Lena and O’Neal Stone. He is also survived by his two sisters, Gia Stone and Meleason Moss, and four brothers, Aaron Campbell, Ishmael Foster, Tavin Fitzgerald, and Kevin Voltaire. His legacy continues through his ten beloved children: Alajah, Cameron, Diamond, Antonio Jr., Bryson, Jordan, Brielle, Braleyn, Majestic, and Saint Gant. Additionally, he is fondly remembered by his grandson Quamir Hamlett, whom he adored deeply.
Known affectionately by many as Tony, Tonio, TG, Man, and Big Dawg, Antonio's life exemplified warmth, charm, and the joy of connection. His friends and family will forever cherish his joyful laughter and his profound desire to uplift others with kind words and thoughtful gestures. As Antonio matured, he underwent a transformative journey, seizing new opportunities, embracing lifestyle changes that aligned with his renewed purpose, and investing deeply in the future of his children.
Antonio's legacy is characterized by his boundless love, commitment to self-improvement, and gentle encouragement—a life well-lived and forever etched in the hearts of many. His warmth, generosity, and spirit of joy will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
