Michael" Mike" P. Steuck age 71, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
Mike passed away peacefully in his home which he took pride in taking care of with his beloved family by his side. He was born Oct 2, 1952, in Wisconsin Rapids and graduated from Assumption High School in 1971. In Sept 1978 he married Patricia Grover. They divorced but in later years reconnected for a closer relationship.
Mike enlisted in the 213th Combat Support Co and served in the 376th Finance Co from 1971 - 1977. He Served as Training Lieutenant of the Town Reminton Vol Fire Dept. 1979–1981.
Mike worked at Port Edwards Paper Mill. He retired in 2008 as a Senior Journeyman Millwright after 35 years. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, trips on his Harley and traveling. He adopted and loved his dog, Willow, and she would be buried with him. He Loved to make people smile with kind words, laugh with jokes, and feel appreciated with gifts. His deep love of family and friends and treasured time spent with them.
He is survived by cherished family members including his son, Aaron Steuck and wife Sandra Steuck, grandchildren, Colton Bulloch. Prestin Koesling. Riley Koesling, and Maria Brandt; his siblings, Donn Lee Steuck and wife Sherry Steuck, John Steuck and wife Sue Steuck, and Patricia Meidl; his nieces and nephews, John Steuck, Sheila Weller, Chris Meidl, Amanda Meidl and Megan Meidl Colemer. Many great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many cherished friends, Deb, Paula, Wayne, card buddies, and members of the DPC. He is preceded in death by his father Donald Steuck and his mother Marion Steuck Zimmerman); nephew, Tim Steuck. And by his good friend, Donald Schillinger.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of services on Friday at the funeral Home.
Burial will be at St. Phillip Catholic Cemetery in Rudolph. There will also be a Celebration of Life that will be held at a later date time and date to be announced.
Special thanks to Caregivers Kristin, Bonnie, Gail and Kris for their care and companionship and to Wayne Graf for all he did for Mike and the support and companionship he gave.
He now resides in heaven probably with a fishing line in the water or on a trip with the Harley. Whatever he is doing he is up there, he is laughing and making the other residents smile.

Grew up with Mike thru grade school, high school and then hanging out at David Harold's. He always had a story to tell that was going to end in laughter!!
