Michael Wayne Stultz, age 73, of Brazil, IN passed away due to increasing complications from diabetes on Sunday, December 22 while under wonderful care of Gibson Family (Hospice) Center at Union Hospital.
Michael "Mike" was born on July 25, 1951 in Terre Haute, IN to Fredrick Eugene (Lynn) and Helen Alma (Boltz) Stultz.
Michael is survived by his two daughters: Tammy (Jim) and Angela( Gary); his 6 grandchildren: Dakota(Gabrielle), Braydon, Mackenzie, Trey, Michaela, and Sara; his 2 great grandsons: Elliot and Everett; his 3 sisters: Cindy, Sharon (Veronica), Theresa (Richard); Brother-in-law Marc; Nieces: Bobbi, Jamie, Kristyn, and Jenny; Nephew: Scott; and Nico plus several great nieces and nephews. Special friends: Carolyn, James and Oscar living in Texas; Howard in Brazil, Indiana.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Deborah and his brother, Jeffrey Stultz.
Mike graduated from Garfield High School in 1969. He enlisted in the Army on January 19, 1970, until his eldest daughter was born later that year, then transferred and dedicated 11 years to the Army National Guard. As he had a ~27 years long career as Communication Technician with GTE/Verizon in League City, TX, then chose to retire in 2008 that allowed his time to be spent serving as a proud Mason and Shriner. Mike was a Past Master of Texas City Lodge 1118 A F & A M and was a Shrine Clown entertaining kids at local children's hospitals in Texas, which he loved putting smiles on their faces.
Mike resided in Dickinson/Le Marque, TX area for 40+ years until returning to Terre Haute area in 2022 to be closer to his family in his final years as his health was declining.
Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Gibson Family Hospice Center in Michael's memory as they are now like family!
