Michael James Talbert, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of his first wife, the late Kathleen Talbert (nee McCafferty) and his second wife, the late Barbara Talbert (nee Randolph). Cherished son of the late James Calvin and Bernetta Talbert (nee White). Devoted father of Christopher (Nancy) Talbert and Theresa (Peter) Shuffett; stepfather of Kimberly (Dave) Draves; loving grandfather of Craig (Amanda) Flanigan, Tyler Shuffett, Kathleen Shuffett, Madelyn Shuffett, and Delaney Shuffett; treasured great-grandfather of Carson, Carter, and Ainsley Flanigan; best pal, Holly.
Michael had a lifelong passion for playing the guitar and a deep appreciation for music, which brought him great joy throughout the years. In addition to his musical talents, he developed a love for quilting, a hobby he embraced with creativity and care. Whether crafting intricate quilts or playing his favorite songs on the guitar, Michael poured his heart into everything he did. However, above all else, his greatest source of happiness came from the moments he spent with his family. He cherished every opportunity to be with his children and grandchildren, finding immense fulfillment in creating lasting memories with them. His love for family was the cornerstone of his life, and he always prioritized those closest to him. Michael was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
