Michael Douglas Tartaglia, 35 of Russell Springs, Kentucky passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025 after a brief illness at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born on June 22, 1990 in Cleveland, Ohio son of the late Bruce Tartaglia and Kimberly Gilliam.
Michael was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed life and being alone. He was a kindhearted and generous person with an outgoing personality who was always willing to help others. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his fiancee' Laura Chester of Russell Springs, Kentucky, two brothers; Sean (Sarah) Gilliam and Kenny Tartaglia and a sister; Candice Tartaglia all of Cleveland, Ohio, three children; Elijah Tartaglia of Cleveland, Ohio, Shayla Chester and Kayleigh Shreeval of Russell Springs, Kentucky, three aunts; Judy Foell of Somerset, Kentucky, who was like a mother to him, Charlotte Hunter of Omaha, Nebraska and Melinda (Tony) Santell of Cleveland, Ohio, five nieces and nephews; Nora Gilliam, Molly Gilliam, Nyla Tartaglia, Callan Gilliam and Jaylen Tartaglia as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the New Life Church of God Mountain Assembly, 222 Murphy Avenue, Ferguson, Kentucky 42533.
