Michael Thomas, formally of Bristol, PA, was born on April 29, 1955. Michael passed away on August 27, 2024, at Statesman Rehabilitation Healthcare Center in Levittown, PA. He was the third child of six children: Willie L. Hinson, (deceased), Patricia A. Thomas, Randy L. Thomas, Sr., Marguerite Thomas-Alvin, and Christine M. Thomas. Michael leaves behind his son, Thomas Draper.
Michael was educated in the Bristol Borough school system. Upon graduation from Bristol High School in 1973, he went onto receive his Electrician Certification from PennCo Tech, in Bristol, PA. From there he worked as a machinist for Roscom Inc., in Croydon, PA until a debilitating back and neck injury.
His memory will be cherished by his family and friends from now and forever. He was especially fond of his sisters Patricia, Marguerite, Christine and Karen and his brother Randy, also his favorite nephews, Randy Jr. and Derrick, Sr. He enjoyed being around his nieces and nephews; Nicole, Danielle, Sierra, Natori, Emily, Ebony, Jalil, Derrick Jr., Kaylynne, Olivia, Xavier, Yadon, Zion and Mia who brought joy to his heart when visiting him from time to time at the rehab center.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Willie D. and Nettie L. Thomas, of Bristol, PA, his sister Willie L. Hinson and her husband Wendell H., Sr., their daughter Amanda L. and their son Wendell H. Hinson, Jr., all of Bristol, PA.
The Thomas family would like to sincerely thank you all for coming out and remembering Michael Thomas. We thank you for your kind thoughts, expressions and prayers.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation to celebrate Michael's life on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by his Memorial Service, 11:00 a.m., at Molden Funeral Home, 133 Otter Street, Bristol, PA 19007.
Light refreshments to follow.
Interment will be private.
