Michael Cruz Thrasher

Michael Cruz Thrasher, age 24, of Williamston, SC, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024, from a motorcycle accident.
Born April 14, 2000, in Anderson County, SC, he was the son of Michael Curtis Thrasher and Julie Elizabeth Bates Moore. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles X-Zavier Thrasher.
Cruz attended Tri County Technical College and Greenville Technical College studying in the HVAC program. He began his HVAC career with Southern Mep. Later, he was employed by AmMechanical in Liberty, SC and worked with Thrasher's Heating and Air, which is owned by his grandfather, Lawrence "LC" Thrasher.
He was a caring, loving and giving man. Cruz would help anyone at anytime and would give his shirt off his back to benefit any person. He enjoyed his motorcycle, target shooting, and fishing. Cruz should have been born in the 1800s, as he loved everything cowboy. Having been raised by his grandparents, he respected family traditions, learned practical skills, absorbed the Thrasher history, and was taught strong morals. He was looking forward to the day Leah and he could start their own family to pass down all the valuable lessons taught by his grandparents. A wonderful life gone much too soon. Cruz would not want any one to grieve, but to move forward, living life as God would have us live.
Cruz leaves behind his precious wife, Leah Nicole; parents Michael Thrasher and Julie Moore; grandparents, Jackie Faye Hall Thrasher and Lawrence Curtis Thrasher; brother, Christopher Thor Thrasher; niece, RaeLynn Faye-Ann Thrasher; nephew, Ryder X-Zavier Thrasher; father-in-law, Bradley James Zarczynski; aunt, April Ginn; and his best friends, Seth Mize and Dylan Lanier.
The family will greet and visit friends and family on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
