Michael Neal Upham went home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2025. He leaves to cherish his memory, a lifetime spouse Janice of 57 years. Beloved father of Tracey Lynn Iverson, Vanessa Marie (James) Spinks and Damian Michael Upham. Cherished grandfather of Stuart (Siobhan) Iverson, Carl (Kaira) Thomas, Jacob Upham, Kevin Spinks, Kavina Spinks and Joshua Upham. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his great grandchildren and sister Pamela Messler. He is also survived by many adoring nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his granddaughter Katelyn Iverson, mother Alice Liss, Father Neal Upham and brothers Mark and Chris Upham.
Michael fought a courageous battle with cancer for the last year and a half of his life. His family is very grateful for the stellar care and encouragement provided by the Froedtert Health Care Staff.
For 26 years, Michael served the Lord as treasurer for Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church. Michael always showed kindness and compassion towards his family in times of need and would always put them first. He took pride in being a leather tanner. Michael was employed at Pfister & Vogel for 25 years and 11 years at Thiele Tanning.
In his spare time, Michael enjoyed golfing with his friends of the Pfister & Vogel golf league, which he helped to organize 30 years ago. He also kept the score card records for his teammates. Another summer favorite activity was watching Brewers games while keeping track of their statistics. Michael was loved very much by his family and loving friends, and he will be greatly missed.
There will be a Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM until time of Memorial Service at 7:00 PM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 380 W. Bluemound Rd. Waukesha, WI
