Vona May Upham

Vona Upham, 86, passed away in Clovis, New Mexico, on June 23, 2025. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Donald Upham; daughters Catherine Parmelee and Cerise Jensen and their spouses and children; as well as her surviving siblings, many grandchildren, and

great-grandchildren, including granddaughter Christi Cochran, who lovingly helped care for her in her final months, and her friends.

Vona was a devoted wife and mother who was passionate about her family, country, and God. Her career path was primarily administrative, but she was an extremely creative seamstress, artist, and gardener with a great love for flowers and for making spaces beautiful inside and out. Her primary love language was acts of service, and she could never do enough to attend to those in her midst.

Above all, she will be remembered for her positivity. She always leaned into the silver lining, no matter how dark the cloud, shining light with her smiles and laughter.

At this time her family would like to thank the Interim team of home health and hospice nurses for their loving care and support.
