Michael John Vierra, 61, of Berthoud, CO, went to be with his Heavenly Father on June 11th, 2025, after battling a long fight with a rare brain disease.
Mike was born on June 29th, 1963, to Barbara and Joe Vierra in San Pablo, California.
Mike attended Amador High School in Sutter Creek, graduating in 1981, where he played football and baseball. He also loved skiing Kirkwood as often as he could.
Mike worked in the construction industry, before attending Chico State University in California where he earned a BS in Construction Management. While Mike was in college, he loved to hunt and fish with his best dog, Jake.
He married Suzy Morris in 1997 and they had two beautiful children, Michael and Kaitlyn.
Mike worked for multiple construction companies as a Superintendent, Foreman and Project Manager, before branching out on his own in 2000, where he founded MSV Construction. In 2012, Mike wanted to move closer to the mountains and nature, so the family moved from Fremont, California to Berthoud, Colorado. Mike's favorite pastimes were skiing, fishing and hunting, along with spending time with his wife and children.
Mike is survived by his wife, son, daughter, and two sisters, Michelle and Lisa.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
We will have two celebration of Life’s. One in California near Lodi on July 26th and one in Colorado (TBD).
