Michael Richard Whitenack, age 78 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on September 1, 2025. He was born on April 10, 1947 to the late Richard W. and Mildred L. Scherer Whitenack. Michael graduated from Eastern High School in 1965, and honorably served as a Sargeant in the US Air Force from 1968 to 1972. He was former owner of Mike's Substation in St. Matthews and was also a manager at Arby's in Bashford Manor. He loved golf, basketball and the University of Louisville Cardinals.
In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Michael is survived by his son, Aaron M. Corwin (Rachel); grandson, Aidan Corwin; siblings, Linda Moore, Carol Taylor, Rodney Whitenack and Brian Whitenack; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends in the Clifton neighborhood.
