Michael F. Wigman "Pa", age 73 of Fox Lake, died early Sunday morning on May 1, 2022 at his home in Fox Lake. Michael was born on September 26, 1948 in Milwaukee the son of Mark R. and La Verne (Thompson) Wigman. Michael enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. Following his discharge he was employed in construction and various other jobs. Michael retired from Metalcraft in Mayville after over 25 years of dedicated employment. Michael was united in marriage to Shirley Jane Guerndt on May 27, 1980 in West Bend. In his free time and throughout his retirement, Michael enjoyed his camping trips with his family, fishing with his son and grandsons, hunting "up north" with his buddies, gambling, attending rummage sales and tinkering with his found road side relics. Michael will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, making the best out of the worst and for his love of duct tape and screws. Michael will be sadly missed and mourned by his wife, Shirley; his children, Joe Miller, Laurie Ann (Dan Hill), Kelly Wigman and Jessica; his grandchildren, Alyassa, Karia, Brayden and Josh Miller, Amanda (Josh) Rounds, Shawn (fiancé, Avery) Mueller, Ashley (fiancé, David Powell) Mueller, Gavin, Kynlee and Marcus Miller, Trevor and Brendon Wigman; his great grandchildren, Addi Clark, Brody and Caleb Mueller, Owen Rounds and Brooklyn Eith; his three sisters, Pat, Joanne and Sally; nieces, nephews, several other relatives and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Rob Miller; brothers, Mark, Randy and Roger; his sisters, Marion and Diane. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Kratz-Smedema Funeral Home in Fox Lake is serving the family.
