Michael “Mike” R. Wittlin, 58, of Black Creek, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at his farm.
Mike was born on August 11, 1965, at St. Elizabeth Hospital (Ascension) in Appleton, to the late Clarence and Beatrice Wittlin.
Mike had a kind, quiet demeanor. He was a thoughtful and faithful servant of God. He attended Pathways Church in Appleton, WI, where he never missed a Sunday unless his fields needed tending to. He single-handedly ran the family farm where he grew soybeans and corn.
Mike is survived by his sister Denice (Rick) Lorenz of Greenville, his brother William “Bill” Wittlin of Black Creek, sister Rita Nuttall Wittlin of Atlanta, Georgia, sister Ann Wittlin of Boston, Massachusetts, nephews and niece, Jonathon Lorenz, Jared Nuttall, Brittany Nuttall and his girlfriend Kristin Lamb who was the love of his life.
A viewing for Mike will be held on Tuesday, February 13th from 10 AM until Noon at Wichmann Funeral Home; 537 N. Superior St. in Appleton. Mike will be laid to rest in the spring at St. Patrick Cemetery on Hwy 76 in Stephensville.
