Michele Butler

Michele Butler, 60 of Staten Island, New York passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Born Friday, November 20, 1964 in Brooklyn, New York, Michele was the daughter of the late Joseph and Barbra Calabrese. Michele was raised in Brooklyn and was a graduate of Madison High School. She would meet and marry the love of her life William Butler, and the couple started their family in Brooklyn. William passed away in 2000, and Michele would move to the New Springville Community on Staten Island. Michele was a big fan of the New York Rangers. She loved going to concerts and listening to Country Music. She loved spending time outside in the summer, going in the pool or just working on her tan. More than anything Michele loved spending time with her family, and she will be deeply missed by all those that love her. Michele was predeceased by her beloved husband William. Michele is survived by her loving children, William and his wife Teresa, Nicholas, and Amanda Buljubasic and her husband Nihad, by her cherished grandchildren, Grace, Daniella, Billy, Lilijana, and Zain, and by her caring brother Joseph Calabrese and is wife Maureen. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey. A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Friday at St. Ambrose Church located at 81 Throckmorton Lane Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857. Interment will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
