Michele Chaffin, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away suddenly on June 24, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on July 24, 1969, in Detroit, Michigan, Michele's life was a testament to the power of generosity and the warmth of a caring heart.
Michele was a devoted companion, mother, and sister. She is survived by her loving companion, John Baker; her children, Jessee, Jessica, and James Chaffin; her sister, Sharron (Gasper) Milazzo; and three cherished grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Florence Lipinski.
As a long-time employee at Kroger's Grocery in Lapeer, Michele was more than just a familiar face; she was a friend to her colleagues and customers alike.
Michele's love for the outdoors was unmistakable. She found peace and contentment in fishing. Her flower gardens were a splash of color that brightened the neighborhood and reflected the beauty she saw in the world.
Michele's sudden departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her legacy of love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her life. Her memory will be cherished, her lessons of compassion will be followed, and her spirit will be celebrated for generations to come.
