Michele Patrice "Patti" Holmberg

Michele "Patti" Holmberg (Main), passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on August 23, 2025. Born on July 1, 1952, in Lansing, Michigan. Patti lived a FAITH filled life of warmth, family and cherished friendships.
Patti met her husband, Theodore W. Holmberg, Jr. (Ted) at Waverly High School in 1967. They married in 1971 and built a life together while raising their son, Joshua, born 10/25/75 (Wife – Amy Donaldson Holmberg). Patti's working years included: Meijer on West Saginaw St., Lansing 1967-68, Lansing Mall's Brad's Wig Shop 1968 – 1970, Zales Jewelers 1970 – 1972, Farm Bureau Insurance 1972 – 1975, and finally 29 years at Lansing Community College Library where she worked as a Support Staff person for Librarians and students. Patti retired in 2013.
During her retirement, Patti enjoyed caring for her two granddaughters, Mallory and Erica, traveling to Europe and throughout America with her husband, family and friends, oil painting, listening to music and dancing especially while making dinner, and reading. Patti stayed active by enjoying exercise with friends such as walking and biking.
Patti will be dearly missed by her husband, Ted and son Josh and his wife Amy and her granddaughters Mallory and Erica as well as her brother Timothy Main and Sister-in-Law Martha Main both of Madison, WI and Sister-in-law Barbara Main of Oklahoma City. Also, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Vickie and Arlin Dell of Charlotte, NC, Bob and Judy Holmberg of Potterville, MI, and Greg and Kathy Sellers of Dayton, OH. Patti was preceded in death by her parents Western C. and Barbara J. Main, her brother D. Gregory Main and her sister Tamara Sean Lott.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September, 20, 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Church, 3355 Dunckel Rd. Lansing, MI. The family will greet friends beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Patti's family takes comfort in knowing her memory will live on through the love she shared, the friendships she nurtured, and her enduring example of a life lived fully and joyously. She will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
