Michelle Renee Porter

Michelle Renee Porter, 36, of Cumberland, passed away May 31, 2022, at Tri City Medical Center in Oceanside, CA, where she had resided for the past 15 years.
Michelle was born November 24, 1985, in Cumberland. She graduated from Allegany High School and the Center for Career & Technical Education, where she was an honors student, with the class of 2003. After school, she moved to Oceanside, CA
.
She was free spirited, a flower child, and enjoyed photography and music. She saw life through a camera lens and, no matter what, she always smiled and was full of laughter.
Michelle was preceded in death by her grandfather, Chester E. Porter, Jr. whom she loved deeply.
She is survived by her grandmother, Donna J. Porter; her parents, Guy and Julie Bentham; a sister, Karlee Jo Bentham and companion Terry Allen Wamsley; two nephews, Lochlan and Declan Wamsley; two brothers, Jeremy Bentham and wife Nicole and their children, Jocelynn and Kennidi, and Justin M. Bentham of Indiana; and her biological father, William G. Godlove, and his parents Rudolph and Donna Godlove.
Visitation will be held at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m.
A graveside service will follow at Fort Ashby Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Bruce McBride officiating. Interment will be in Fort Ashby Cemetery.
