Michelle Lynn Tatar (Cheek), also known as Glam Gram, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, at home in the arms of her hero and husband, Jason Tatar.
Originally from Rantoul, Illinois, Michelle and her family moved to Florida in 2019 to be closer to her second love, the mouse with the big ears. Jason and Michelle were married in September of 1995 and shared a love as magical as Disney! Her husband Jason; her son Cody and daughter-in-law Reina Tatar; her daughter Brianna and son-in-law Kevin Williams; her brother and niece Eric and Reese Cheek; and her father and mother Jim and Pam Cheek survive Michelle. Also surviving is Michelle's pride, joy, and mini best friend, her granddaughter Evelyn Claire Williams.
Michelle worked at Eustis Elementary School as an ESE School Specialist and MTSS Coordinator, fiercely advocating for all students, especially her babies with exceptionalities. Michelle loved all things Disney, going to the beach, spending time with her husband Jason and her family, especially her granddaughter Evy, Halloween, and Michael Myers. Michelle was fiercely loyal, loving, and kind but had a favorite finger and was not afraid to use it.
Michelle's services will be through Steverson, Hamlin, and Hilbish on Tuesday, October 22. Visitation will be from 10 to 11, with the service starting at 11 a.m.
Donations may be made to Eustis Elementary in Michelle's name.
All funds donated will support her ESE Program and the students with the most need, just as Michelle would want.
