Miguel Carillo Jr. served in the Navy Air Force as a Air Policeman in Clarks Air Base Philippines March 1955- May 1959 “ Thank You for your service”
Miguel Carillo Jr. 87 years young, departed December 1, 2024, born February 2, 1937, to Basilia Morones and Mike Carillo. He married his wife Marylou on Aug 11,1962 and both raised their children Robert, Gina, Wendy.
Dad had many hobbies. Other than being a family man, he was a truck driver for many years delivering produce and then asphalt and his favorite hobbies were gold mining, fishing, collecting coins, traveling around the states, camping. He would talk about the times when Levi pants were $2.50 and all the stories from when he was in the Philippines. If only he would of wrote a book about it, it would’ve been amazing. He seen a lot through his lifetime and lived a good life. But I will say this, the best story is the day he met my mom, and life was definitely good after that. She was the love of his life, real love, true love and inseparable.
Dad’s true love departed March 9th, 2021and he wasn’t the same, being together for 59 years was a hurt that no one could fix, 3 years and 9 months was hard for him to live life without his true love, but we made sure he wasn’t always alone and present in his time and there for him. Now he is with his true love and they’re watching over us.
Today March 10th we are laying to rest mom and dad ashes together. Thank you, dad and mom, for being the best parents I can ask for. You both taught me so much and I will be forever grateful and thankful for everything. I love you and truly miss you. Till we meet again... See you later.
“ Gods most strongest Angel, Respected and never forgotten. You may be far from earth, but never far from our hearts ’’
