Mike Oney 54, of Shiloh, died Wed. Jan 17th, 2024 at Willard Mercy Hospital.
Mike was born in Ashland Nov. 19th, 1969. He was the son of John and Rebecca Oney of Shiloh. He graduated from Plymouth High School, class of 1988. Mike worked at various manufacturing jobs in the area including quality control at MTD in Willard and Sheller Globe in Norwalk. He was also certified in heating and air conditioning from Ashland West Holmes Vocational School.
Mike loved the outdoors and fishing was his sport of choice. He also loved a long walk in the woods and watching the deer from his front porch.
Mike is survived by his two daughters Briana Oney (Kyle) of Shelby and Sabrina Fletcher (Ashley) of Willard his parents John and Rebecca of Shiloh his sister Lauri Hart (Jeff) of Shiloh and his brother David Oney of Mt Pleasant TN as well as his nieces, nephews and cousins.
Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Grace Billheimer of Ashland, his paternal grandparents Sam and Louise Oney of Shiloh, his aunts Margaret Oney of Shiloh and Brenda Kline of Shelby and his uncles Mike Oney of Shiloh and Mark Oney of Shiloh.
Funeral services will be at the Messiah House of Prayer in Shiloh at 74 Pettit St. Monday January 22, 2024. The visiting hour will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the service will be at 12:00 p.m. with burial following at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be left for the Messiah House of Prayer. Online condolences can be left at secorfuneralhomes.com
